Parent training- Parents usually get overwhelmed with IEP reports and find it challenging to advocate effectively for their child during IEP ( Individual Education Plan). We help them “decode” the reports and help parents have their voice heard during IEP /504 meetings.

Parents usually do not know if a particular therapy is working for their child. We help parents identify if a particular strategy or therapy is working for their child. As each child is unique, something what works for one child may not work for another, or sometimes- the intervention is evidenced based, but the consistency with which it is provided is not adequate and may APPEAR to be not working. We help parents identify if their child’s IEP or 504 is working for them.

Parents usually request for more services- but that may not be the solution. We help parents identify possible solutions and become effective IEP team members.

Sometimes parents need someone who is informed and has their back when navigating the special service journey. We are familiar with the Education Law (IDEA) and have experience working with school IEP teams.
